[Ofsrdc] Club/Council Information Forms

All area delegates received their annual packet of membership forms on
Sunday.  This is one of the two major items of annual business for which
a Federation area delegate is responsible (the other being insurance, in
the fall).

For those of you who are comfortable using the world wide web, and whose
handwriting is as lousy as mine, you may now fill out these forms
on-line.  There is a link to it in the page index on the Federation's
main web page, or you may go directly to:

This asks you for your club or council name, and then brings up a form
with some information partially filled in, allowing you to fill in the
rest.  When you have filled in the form, you will click the "Submit"
button at the bottom of the page.  This will bring up a PDF page for you
to review and print.  In addition, you can enter your e-mail address and
have a copy of the PDF e-mailed to you as a backup.  A copy is also
e-mailed to me; since this is rather new, I want to find out if there
are any problems.

The page will come up with the council, tax ID, and tax exempt
information already filled in.  If you believe any of this information
is in error, please contact me.

Also please remember that you need to fill in your *NEW* officers, for
the 2007-2008 square dance year.  Since most clubs don't elect officers
until March or April, that means you won't be able to fill anything in
for a while.  If you wish, please feel free to try out the web page
right now.  It doesn't cost anything, and you can decide for yourself
whether you are comfortable using this for "the real thing" later in the
spring.
