I didn't want to write this e-mail but it seems like I have no choice. 
Due to my upcoming back surgery and shoulder surgery again this winter,
I am officially resigning from my Recording Secretary position.  I will
continue to set up the preliminary minutes with all of the incoming
reports from the officers and delegates and will forward it to whoever
takes over this position on May 19th.  I will also arrange for the
recorder, etc. to be given to this person.
 
Even though it has been a lot of work, I have thoroughly enjoyed being
Recording Secretary and having an opportunity to visit with square
dancers throughout the state.  When possible, Ed and I plan to show up
at various functions so I can maintain contact with all of you.  I won't
be able to dance unless someone wants to whirl me around in my wheelchair.
