We're getting some complaints from our clients that I wanted to warn you
about.
Microsoft sends automatic updates to your Windows XP computers, if you
have it turned on (and you should). The major updates happen every
second Tuesday, which was last night. Something in this latest update
is taking 30 to 45 minutes to complete, and the computer does not
respond while it is being installed. So, when you turn your computer on
today and it connects to the Internet, you may find that it suddenly
goes unresponsive. If so, do not try to reboot it -- just wait for a
while. If you wait for an hour and it STILL does not respond, then you
may have a problem and you should try to reboot.
