Hi Tim:
 
I have information for all who are going to the May Oregon Federation 
State Meeting.
 
Due to the remoteness and "few" guest accommodations in Ione, the next 
closest is Heppner which is about 19 to 20 miles from Ione.
 
Northwestern Motel and RV Park

Heppner, OR 97836

The rooms are theme rooms, these can be viewed at:

All rooms are the same price, $53.00 for two people before taxes.
Some rooms have 1 double bed or double bed with a single bed or single 
beds. And
some of the rooms allow pets.
There are 15 rooms, now 14 available as we took the Oriental Room.
 
I also recommend what I call the food/ice chest first aid kit. This is 
for in case you are hungry late in the evening and in case there isn't 
anything for breakfast in the morning.
 
The RV park is small, he can accommodate RV's with slide outs, $16.00 a 
night. I think he said he could provide dry camping when he runs out of 
the RV spots with hook-ups.  
 
If you are unable to get anything in Ione or Heppner then Hermiston is 
the next available town which is a hour drive.
