I'm really glad to see the conversations going on amongst the Board for the trip to Ione in May. Nice to see the exchange of information for this trip.   

I went to Eastern Oregon and back in less than 18 hours on Saturday and I have some information for all of you.

The exit to Ione is #147  Ione is approximately 17 miles off of I-84
The exit to Arlington is #137    Village Inn and Restaurant right off the freeway
The exit to Boardman is #164    There are 3 motels in Boardman (an Econo Lodge, Dodge City Inn and another) and a few restaurants for fast food and sit down.

I know that Ione is looking forward to seeing all of us and we should have a great time in the tiny hamlet of Ione and the gracious citizens that are looking forward to being our hosts for the weekend.
