The good news continues to keep coming from Larry.  We have definitely helped Carol and it is my hope you will continue to help Carol.  Wouldn't it be nice if we were helpful enough that she could make a visit to Mid-Winter to let her know just how many of us have been saying good things on her behalf?

Happy New Year One and All.

Today was a good day for Carol.  She was able to feed herself breakfast and lunch.  She was sitting up most of the day and pretty responsive to the nurses and to visitors.  She is definitely having problems putting into words the thoughts/ideas that she wants to express.  

It just seems like the Christmas/New Year time frame is not a good time to be in the hospital.  The medical staff likes to have time off to be with family and friends just like the rest of us.  Tomorrow it should get back to normal.

Remember, we still want to talk with the neurologist about the current prognosis and the long term for Carol.  We want to know more about rehab for speech, physical and occupational therapy.  Possible nursing home.  Just so many questions!!!!!!

These are all of our human thoughts.  Let's remember though that Carol has come this far because of your/our faith in God and your prayers for her continued recovery.  We are still holding on to that one prayer that asks Him to heal Carol completely!!.   Today, I took her Bible and The Daily Bread up to her so that she can keep up on her daily Bible studies.  This got a big smile from her.

What a great first day of the new year.  God is alive and well and doing great works in our lives if we just let Him.
