Please take a little time and think about Carol for a little while.  She is not doing well today.  Let's see if we can boost her spirits and help her back up to feeling better.  Now that the holidays are over, Larry will be able to get the answers that he has been seeking for about a week now.  Let's hope for good news from all the staff that have been assembled to explain things to the family.

When I arrived at the hospital this morning, about 9 a.m. Carol was not looking her perky self like yesterday.  She did have a bath and got her hair washed.  The occupational therapist was helping her to comb her hair.  But, she just wasn't real responsive.

They soon brought in her breakfast.  She isn't swallowing today and the speech therapist arrived to check on her.  Not sure what is happening, but they are searching for answers.

Her temperature is up again this morning.

She has a pic line to assist over the long term to make it easier for doing IV's.  For some reason it isn't working the way it is supposed to.  They have someone else working on this problem.

In essence, she really needs a prayer pickup, as do the medical team that is treating her.
