It is late Sunday night, but I needed to let you know that God is true to His word.  They removed the last IV today and Carol again ate all three meals.  We even got a milk shake in for a special treat.  The speech therapist got her to eat a graham cracker.

The doctor has written up a release order for Carol to be transferred to a rehab/nursing facility her in Eugene.  We have selected Valley West off of Warren Street near Churchill High School and Eugene Bible College.  This transfer should take place sometime tomorrow.

I have requested a Family Leave day to help her get settled in to what will be her new home for a while.

She had lots of visitors today as our family gathered together to celebrate my father's 86th birthday.  So, she in some way got to share in that.

I will let you know more details about Valley West as soon as I have them.

Thank you for your prayers.  Please keep them up as we do have a long ways to go and God is watching us for the faith that we exhibit no matter the circumstances.  We always want to praise Him.
