Subject: Carol Reetz Update 011608 P.M.


It is approximately 10 p.m.

Carol is very responsive.  She is still eating her meals 100 %.  The meds to help with the blood clots appear to be working their magic.  However, her vitals this afternoon and this evening rang some warning bells.  Her heart rate was quite high at 138 and 140+.  Her respirations were high over 35.  Blood pressure and temperature were okay though.  I don't know if these will affect her release to Valley West.  Valley West is still holding a room/bed for her.

The nurses were touching base with the doctor when I left tonight.  

Hopefully I/we will have some answers in the morning.

Please -- keep Carol in your prayers that these vitals will settle down to near at a normal rate and the other labs will show that she is ready to be moved.
