9:20 p.m. Thursday

About 6:30 p.m. this evening Carol came out of the sleep she had been in most of the day.  Her vitals are still producing numbers to give the doctors concern.  She is on a wide spectrum antibiotic.  They have blood cultures in the works that they say takes  24 to 48 hours to produce results.  They also pulled the pic line (an IV that was put in about 4 weeks ago).  The tip of  the pic line was sent to the lab for a culture to see if it was the source of any infection.

We are still keeping a close eye on Carol as she is not out of the woods yet.

She is still in the Progressive Cardiac Unit at Sacred Heart this evening.

Please keep Carol in your prayers for a complete healing by our Lord.
