Subject: Carol Reetz Update 011908


Saturday night - 9:30 p.m.

Friday and Saturday have now come and gone.  The culture for the pic line (IV) that was pulled on Thursday showed that this was quite possibly the source of the infection for Carol.  Carol has been receiving the antibiotics since Thursday morning and continues to receive them.  Her vital signs are returning to levels near what should be normal, even better than  what she had before Wednesday/Thursday.

Occupational and physical therapy were both in the room this afternoon.  Physical therapy left instructions that Carol could sit in a bed side chair to eat her dinner tonight and possibly a ride tomorrow in a wheelchair.  

Now I say all of this and although we the doctors and nurses were instrumental here, we have to give credit to God for providing the wisdom and direction and the healing touch provided.

I am still praying that He will provide a full and complete healing, from the inside out -- totally.

Thank you all for your continued prayer and believe in our Lord that everything is possible when we trust Him.
