Subject: Carol Reetz at SHMC


Good Morning,

Carol returned to Sacred Heart Medical Center last night about 6:30 p.m.  We spent most of the evening in the ER while they ran test after test.  She had tried to get out of bed by herself twice on Wednesday and was found on the floor both times.  Symptoms:  very very high blood pressure, somewhat elevated temperature, had some vomiting yesterday, white blood cell count elevated above normal, heart rate was elevated.  Carol was complaining of lower abdominal pains.  Cat scan was normal, urine sample normal.   They did say that it appeared she may have some pneumonia in the lower right lung.  (I think that is correct.)  Carol was talkative, answered the questions with positive and knowing answers.

She was admitted and I left the hospital at about 2 a.m.  Doctor's are to run more test today to try and pinpoint the real issues here.

I will be going back to the hospital soon.
