TVCB,

During our last rehearsal, Dana Deardorff, a LOMB member, mentioned that
Dale Cleland, LOMB Music Director, read a letter I sent them expressing our
appreciation for LOMB hosting the the Adult Band Festival (shown below). I
think it is very important to support the music community whenever possible.
Writing letters like this is one of things I really enjoy doing.

I certainly appreciate the support you all give to TVCB as we enter the
second half of 2007. The 4th of July and end of July concerts will be a lot
of fun!

Mr. Dale Cleland

Director, Lake Oswego Millennium Concert Band

Dear Dale,

On behalf of the Tualatin Valley Community Band, I want to convey our
sincere appreciation for hosting the Oregon Adult Band Festival on April
28th. The facilities and arrangements made to support our Band, and all the
others that performed, were first-rate. Our Band was very comfortable with
the surroundings and I believe we performed well due to the extra efforts of
your Band and support personnel.

I attended from 9 am to 6 pm and I must say that the music community was
provided a unique opportunity to listen to live music in a most relaxed
environment, which makes it all the more satisfying.

Our Band also appreciated the same-day recordings delivered to all
participants. We all benefit from listening to our performances.

Finally, my wife and I attended your Mother's Day Eve concert last night.
Your selections were outstanding and Lake Oswego Millennium Band performed
them brilliantly. As a clarinet player, I especially appreciated Ms.
Bantsari's Von Weber solo. It was my high school final examine, and that
afternoon I took out the vintage 1969 copy and played it for my wife.
Needless to say, Ms. Bantsari did a wonderful job and there isn't a clarinet
player in the world that isn't rooting for the soloist during the difficult
passages that must be navigated.

LOMB is a real gift to the community. Your efforts are appreciated. We
wish you and your Band the best of everything in 2007 and in the years to
come.

Sincerely,

Phil Pasteris

President, Tualatin Valley Community Band
